We all waste a ton of time online. If you have a computer or spend any time in front of a computer with the goal of accomplishing work, actually getting down to do that work will be the most difficult thing you do all day. You’ve got to check your email.
Maybe you’ve got something from MySpace, so you have to go check that. After commenting on some pictures, leaving some messages, and cleaning out the spam in your inbox, you’ve somehow lost two hours and not gotten anything done.
This happens to me at least twice a day, if not more often. Usually, it’s Wikipedia’s fault. The internet makes it way easy to lose track of time, so that’s why you should get one of these five helpful tools to figure out just where your time is going. I’d get one and experiment, but I… uh, don’t really want to know how much time I actually waste. I’m happier in my ignorance.
