The DARPA-funded “BigDog” is a robot constructed by Boston Dynamics and is possibly the coolest, most lifelike mechanical beast that money can build. This bot can scale hills, walk through snow, catch itself slipping on ice, and can even take a forceful kick to the side without losing its footing!

Basically, BigDog is the future AT-AT we’ve all been waiting for.
