Most men travel light, especially when it comes to grooming equipment and toiletries. Even when not traveling, most guys try to cut down on the number of extraneous items used in the bathroom. That’s where this insanely useful article from The Art of Manliness comes in.

There are some suggestions in here that I’m going to put in practice as soon as possible. A $20 bill would have come in handy dozens of times while in transit between various locations. Just stick it in a zip-lock bag and keep it for a rainy day (read: when you forget to replace your empty shaving cream).

A commenter to the article also pointed out another great tip: carry a black film container full of quarters. That goes along with the monetary element, but think about traveling in places where parking meters may be used! Don’t forget the other necessities… aspirin, lip balm, safety pins, and even a lint roller if you have room.
