There’s painting your house, and then there’s really painting your house! Given the slump in the housing market, it’s no longer enough to have an awesome home theater built around your pool and the like. You have to do something to increase the curb appeal of your 3-bedroom 2-bath standard home. Bring in Michaelangelo, give him a bucket of paint and free reign, and sit back and relax while he does all the hard stuff!

I don’t see how something like a well-maintained mural would do anything but bring up the value of a home. After all, who wouldn’t want to live in a piece of art? That said, I imagine the cost of keeping that mural looking fresh and clean, and repainting it every few years once it starts to fade, would have to be pretty distressing. Still, I think the touching-up would be worlds easier than the initial painting. Plus, you can’t put a price on awesome.
