It wasn’t a case of price slashing, more like price bashing, when a pair of senior citizen Wal-Mart employees got into a fight in the retail giant’s Royal Palm Beach, Florida store.

The police report states a 70-year-old Wal-Mart employee used a pricing gun to wallop an 81-year-old store co-worker.

The geezer perpetrator claimed he used the tool in self defense, but store surveillance cameras show a different story.

The octogenarian victim suffered a swollen eye and cuts on his mouth and nose after receiving the blow from the pricing gun.

Apparently these senior citizen brawlers don’t know the Rules of Fight Club, because the video also showed both were still wearing their shirts and shoes during the altercation.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for the Wal-Mart franchise’s public relations department. The employee fracas comes right on the heels of the corporation losing its bid to claim ownership of the iconic yellow Smiley face.
