I’m not one who runs screaming from a spider or a creepy crawly.

Matter of fact, when I found these amazing art pieces on the Web, I was fascinated and couldn’t stop clicking to see all the different works by artist Mike Libby.

His site and online studio is called, appropriately enough, Insect Lab.

Libby combines the gears and springs from antique watches and other mechanical components with all varieties of bugs. From spiders to butterflies and scorpions to dragonflies, they all must be seen. As he states on his home page, he brings together science fiction and science fact to make these incredible pieces.
