It doesn’t take long to figure out I don’t have a green thumb.

One quick look at the window sill where my few pitiful potted plants reside shows my sheer lack of intuitive human/plant interaction. Only the heartiest greenery survives my care.

There may be a rescue in sight for my not-so-green house plants.

It’s the Digital Pot. It can let you know when your plant needs water or if it’s too warm or cold by showing emoticons on the side of the pot. If the plant receives too much water, the pot will filter the excess away into a reserve area.

It’s powered by plugging it into a USB port on a computer.Yes, it’s one more among a long list of goofy things you can plug into your computer via the USB port.
