Everybody and their brother are talking about the rising price of a gallon of gasoline.
I know I’m feeling the pinch in my bank account every time I fill my tank and see the numbers on the pumps whirling around and around faster than Britney Spears can pop in and out of rehab.
But at least the oil companies are up front about price changes. You can see giant signs with the ever-rising prices posted right there on the parking lot of the gas station.
However, companies that produce foods that are on the shelves of the neighborhood grocery store aren’t quite as obvious with their changes.
Everything from ice cream to potato chips to cereal and even soap are being produced in smaller sizes and packages without a reduction in price.
