It’s kind of sad that in the United States, people feel the need to bribe others for doing their civic duty and voting in the November 4 Presidential Election. Of course, this is a country where people are thrilled if over 50 percent of the eligible voters bother to show up and cast a ballot, so maybe free stuff isn’t such a bad idea when it comes to trying to get folks out there marking their ballots.  Among the many bribes being offered to voters are free Starbucks coffee, free Krispy Kreme doughnuts, free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and free sex toys.

That’s right, free sex toys.  If I were a political sort, I’d say that the good folks at Babeland were trying to say that no matter who you vote for, McCain or Obama, we’re all going to get screwed over anyway, so we may as well enjoy it.  Either way, if you’re anywhere near one of the brick-and-mortar Babeland shops in New York, Los Angeles, or Seattle, you’re more than welcome to go over and get your freak on.

As for me, I’m just a little disappointed I don’t get any free lemonade and homemade pie.  I love homemade pie.
