In one of the most expensive cities in the world with one of the largest populations of any city in the world, it’s no wonder that living space is at a premium. However, there’s no place with a premium quite as high as the Conduit Road 39 building in Hong Kong, China. After all, that building is so posh that the penthouse recently went for a staggering $57 million dollars. That’s $9,200 per square foot, or $11.4 million per bedroom for each of the five bedrooms! Just imagine the security deposit on that place!
I don’t understand why you would pay $57 million for an apartment when there are perfectly good $51 million apartments in that very same building. Seriously, another apartment in that building went for $51 million. This could very well be the most expensive apartment building in the entire world, let alone in Asia. For what those units cost, they better come with free jet parking.
