Given the way Twilight, New Moon, and vampires in general have taken over the public consciousness, it was only a matter of time before it happened.  I remember after the last outbreak of pop-culture vampirism, there were crazy people all over the world who did weird stuff in the name of pretending to be an undead bloodsucker, and here we are in 2009, where men are biting teenage girls during vampire movies.

Well, actually, the mysteriously short 45-year-old white male bit Erin Westrate after the movie, as she was leaving the movie theater in Norton Shores, Michigan.  But that’s beside the point.  The point is it’s a copycat biting, just like what happened to Bella in that terrible, terrible movie.

Or, you know, maybe it was just a perverted old guy looking to assert his disgustingness on some young chick.  Given that he was making sexual comments to Erin and her friend during the film, he was probably just some pervert.  Still, we don’t need movies giving perverts good ideas on how to be extra perverty.
