I think everyone in the world has seen Star Wars, but did you know there’s a Star Wars movie you didn’t see?  That’s right; when you’re filming any movie, there’s always something that gets left on the cutting room floor.  Some of the stuff that gets cut isn’t important, but some of it changes the whole tone of the movie.  That’s easily seen by comparing the original cuts of the Star Wars Trilogy with the remastered, recut versions George Lucas put out on DVD a few years ago.  Not only does io9 have unseen moments from Star Wars, but they have 40 unseen moments cut from Star Wars, Star Trek, The Terminator, and all your sci-fi favorites.

For example, watch this hilarious scene cut from Terminator 3.

I have to admit, that’s pretty freaking funny.  When Arnold opens his mouth and that voice comes out, I just want to burst into laughter.   I can see why that was cut, but it’s a brilliant scene nonetheless.  It’s just a little too funny for a movie with the tone of T3.
