Some of mankind’s best inventions just came out of nowhere.  Just a bunch of people hanging around, maybe having a few beverages, when suddenly someone has a brainstorm.  “I know!  You know those big, expensive trains that people ride around in?  Let’s build our own!”  So, using old lawn furniture and salvaged parts, six guys from Germany built and went out joyriding in their homemade train.

If you don’t get the idea that this is crazily dangerous, then allow me to direct you to the post about the woman who nearly got smashed by the train.  Trains, specifically the real kind of train, are very powerful, fast, and dangerous machines that don’t stop very easily.  That explains why the authorities shut down all trains in the area and erected a blockade to stop those guys on the joyride before they got themselves hurt.  Fortunately, they chose a section of track with no scheduled runs, but that might just be luck, rather than skill or research.
