Let’s get one thing straight right off the bat: I’m not in favor of anyone faking anyone else out. However, there’s always someone at the office or in your extended group of friends that you have to get a gift for, even if you don’t really like them (or know what to get them). One of the ways around this sort of obligation gift is to give money to a charity. But what if you’re broke? Like, flat broke? That’s where Care4Less comes into play; they’re the completely phony parody charity organization! Kind of like George Costanza’s Human Fund from Seinfeld.
The only problem with their fake charities is that they’re too funny to be believable. I mean, the Make-A-Sandwich Foundation? Fathers 4 Mosquitoes? Unless your friend is really dumb, there’s no way they’re buying that. If they are really dumb, then you can just give them a stupid little humping dog USB toy or something. That way, you don’t feel guilty about lying to them, but you still don’t waste much cash on them!
