A 39-year-old man had a very narrow escape from a bullet-related death last weekend.  Police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania say the man was driving in his car when he was fired upon on Sunday evening.  The bullets ripped through his automobile, and one even hit the man.  Fortunately for him, his belt stopped the bullet.  Must’ve been a titanium belt or a very small gun!

It’s one of the oldest movie tropes ever.  A guy gets shot, only to rip off his shirt and reveal a bullet proof vest, or pulls something out of his pocket that miraculously turned aside the bullet.  However, it actually happened!  How crazy is that?

The shooting victim isn’t cooperating with police, which makes me think that this was some sort of bad thing going down that he got shot at over.  At least he reported the shooting to cops, who turned the information over to the newspaper.  Otherwise, I wouldn’t get to talk about this crazy story of survival!
