Chris Hughes is going to make an attempt at a world record. He wants to set a record for the largest amount of people hypnotized at once. However, since he can’t be all over the world at once, he’s going to try to forge a new record: “the largest online hypnosis session via a Webcast.” He’s going to turn Facebook and Twitter into a swirly pattern and a soothing, quiet voice to attempt to lull the unsuspecting people of the world into a deep trance. SLEEEEEEP! Find out more about Chris, the record, and online hypnosis at SocialTrance.com.
I have to admit, the idea is crazy. I don’t know how it could possibly work; the idea of hypnosis via mass media seems like something out of a bad movie to me, but I’m skeptical about the idea of hypnosis in general. However, I’ve seen quite a few absorbing online videos that caused me to lose track of time, so I guess anything’s possible. No matter how crazy it might seem to me. Hopefully while the world is under, he’ll tell us all to do something good, like quit smoking.
