Want to see some of the most secret, elusive, and forbidden places on Earth? Well, we all do, but we can’t. That’s why they’re secret, elusive, and forbidden. If we could, it’d be just another tourist trap. Still, we can look at the outsides and read about some of the world’s most secure locations thanks to this great article up at Listverse.
The most interesting thing on the list was Club 33. Given that millions of people pass by its front door every day, it’s a miracle someone doesn’t let themselves in to see the secret Disney clubhouse (and get themselves a beer from the only place on Disney’s campus that serves alcohol during working hours). Yes, anyone can join Club 33, but the waiting list is 14 years long and it costs a whole lot of cash to get in.
In high school, one of my big goals was to see Area 51. Obviously, I never tried to get in there, since I’m not writing this post from jail. Still, wouldn’t it be awesome to go behind the scenes at a top-secret military facility?!
