In Dr. Seuss‘ “The Zax,” a north-going Zax and a south-going Zax meet. Both refuse to move. Meanwhile, the world moves on and eventually, someone builds a highway around the two obstinate Zax that still refuse to budge to one another. In St. Cloud, Minnesota, a similar situation first caused a fist fight, then caused a stabbing.
Two guys couldn’t move out of one another’s way, so one guy stabs the other one repeatedly during a fight? There’s something wrong with people. If you’ve really got to stab someone, make it for a good reason. Like, for example, because they got into your room and left empty soda cans behind or because someone stole your stripper platform heels. There’s absolutely no shame in taking a step to either the left, or the right. Just don’t take a step in both directions, because that just means you’re covering more of the sidewalk.
