She was born Sarah Rodriguez, but the 18-year-old girl from San Antonio, Texas prefers to be called Wolfie Blackheart. If you think that’s strange, you haven’t heard the half of it! Not only does she go by Wolfie, she believes that she is a werewolf or wolf woman. She has a pack, she wears a harness AND a tail, and even self-identifies as a wolf woman and a canine. She also yips due to Tourette’s Syndrome caused, her mother says, by a car wreck a few years ago. She also has a large collection of knives and swords, anime posters and toys, animal skulls, and she’s also an amateur taxidermist, which is why she says she severed the head of a dead stray dog she found.
This animal cruelty, be it to a dog dead or alive, raised up such a fuss online that people actually tracked down the family of Rigsby, the dog Wolfie turned into a trophy skull. Rigsby’s owner, Kathy Silva, is the one who contacted the police and animal control, both of whom are investigating Wolfie. For her part, Wolfie says, “I would never kill a canine, I am a canine.”
