You know, I’m really surprised this sort of thing doesn’t happen all the time.  The media loves to have people pose with their arms full of awards.  For example, after her four Grammy wins yesterday, Taylor Swift dutifully paraded around with her four Grammys in her arms.  Then, a combination of her nervousness and the hot lights kicked in, and thunk, the four-time Grammy winner became a three-time Grammy winner after dropping one of her trophies.

Like I said above, it’s not terribly shocking.  I mean, she had four of those things, and she’s only got two hands.  You can’t reliably carry a big, heavy gramophone-shaped award perched on your arm.  Well, I guess you can’t, anyway.  I mean, I can’t handle four coffee mugs at once, so I know I couldn’t handle carrying around four trophies with no convenient handles.
