If there was ever a post screaming for a SarcMark, it’s this one. Litchfield Elementary School principal Ron Sterr no doubt gets a lot of caustic, overly critical remarks from parents, but when he returns the favor with a sarcastic letter of his own, he gets suspended for it. The letter, sent home to parents in late January, contains some great lines. Example: “The math we do is really easy. If your child is either too lazy or too stupid to finish it in class, I’m sending it home so that you can work with them and judge for yourself whether it is laziness or idiocy that inhibits your child’s progress.”
Man, that’s a great line, isn’t it? Obviously Principal Sterr is a proud graduate of the Edward R. Rooney School Of Student Relations. School superintendent Dr. Julianne Lein says Sterr is out as principal at Litchfield (and out as a principal in general), though it remains to be seen if he’s going to get fired, or merely demoted. Either way, he’s not gonna get no respect. No respect, I tells ya.
