There had to be a hold out. In the case of the Mele Quadruplets, the stubborn one was Grace. She didn’t want to be just one of the quads during her college years. However, after a little time to think, and probably some peer pressure from her siblings, she’s going to join her brothers and sister. Grace, Bobby, Erin, and Danny Mele, the Mele Quadruplets, will all be attending Oneonta, New York’s Hartwick College. She just couldn’t bear to be apart from her siblings quite yet.
Reportedly, their father, Robert Mele, cried when he heard the news they were sticking together. Or maybe he cried because he’ll be racking up a reported $74,000 per year in college expenses for the four kids, not counting books, food, and general spending money. Maybe he can negotiate some sort of group rate for the four kids, maybe save himself some money. Maybe buy three, get one free? Given how little a college degree is worth these days, he’ll be better off negotiating for the best deal he can get for those kids!
