He fell into it completely by accident. Wang Mou, an 18-year-old Chinese man, was sold into marriage as a woman by a female acquaintance who promised to help him find a job. Since it worked once, Mou decided that he’d not be cheated out of his money again and decided to go into business for himself, posing as a woman, becoming engaged to a desperate Chinese bachelor, then running off with the engagement money. It beats working for the border patrol!
The scam worked twice, and Mou soaked two men for about $1500 dollars each. The third time, however, was not the charm. Talk about your bad romance. Dude sounds like a real fame monster to me.
Mou was caught fleeing his third wedding by a group of women, who promptly turned him over to the police when it was discovered he was a man. They should’ve realized he was a man when he refused to make a commitment, am I right ladies?
