In the appropriately-named Honeymoon Ranges of Australia’s Northern Territories, there’s a little town called Tennant Creek. It’s a town being held hostage, not by some fringe militants, but by one single animal. There’s apparently a randy kangaroo with an eye for the ladies who keeps chasing after joggers!
“There was no doubt about what he wanted, the randy old thing,” said one woman, who was chased by the kangaroo while on her morning walk. “I turned around and saw this big kangaroo behind me, so I hastened my steps.” Fortunately, she ran into some other walkers who chased the beast away. Later on in the day, another person wasn’t so lucky, as he came to the rescue of a mother of three in the parking lot and got a kangaroo punch for his efforts.
Officials have refused to take action, unless the kangaroo continues to be a nuisance. Hopefully his problem will have resolved itself by then, and nobody’s been . Shame on this kangaroo, both for his disrespect for women and his reinforcement of Australian stereotypes!
