If you’re Steve Jobs, you’re happy that the iPhone has sold so many millions of units. However, all is not roses and caviar in Cupertino, California, as Apple finds itself under a deluge of class-action lawsuits over the flawed engineering in the iPhone 4’s antenna. Not only are people crying discrimination, they’re also doing something about it, taking Apple to task for their poorly-designed phone. On June 29, Texas was the first state to feature an Apple lawsuit, and every day since, other states have jumped in.
Just how many Apple iPhone owners will jump in on this lawsuit? I don’t know, but if I bought an iPhone I couldn’t use because Apple ignored the advice of engineers and willfully pushed out a crappy product? I’d be involved in the lawsuit, too. Then again, I’m not really an Apple fan and have no real interest in owning an iPhone, 4G and functional or not. (The more I use Macs, the less of a fan I am of how they constantly choose form over function.)
