There’s nothing quite like an ice cream on a hot summer day. It’s so cool, sweet, and refreshing… you just really can’t beat it. As any kid will tell you, the ice cream in the freezer is good, but the ice cream treats that come off the back of the ice cream truck are even better. But what about poor Giant George? He’s not getting any ice cream, and the family dog feels the heat just as much as the family does! Well, buy him a treat off the ice cream truck for dogs!
It’s the first of its kind in the UK. Dubbed the K99, the ice cream truck solely for dogs has specially-made ice cream treats that are just the right temperature, consistency, and flavor to please Fido’s palate. The flavor, for those interested, is gammon and chicken ice cream, on a waffle cone, topped with a dog biscuit. The dog ice cream truck won’t be driven by dogs or run by dogs, but it will be hitting dog-themed summer events throughout the UK, where no doubt it will make a killing.
Say what you want to about people eating dog food, but chicken ice cream? I’d have to taste it. (No, I don’t know what gammon is.)
