“Mama told me there would be days like this,” says Stoughton, Massachusetts, police chief Paul Shastany.  What kind of day is Chief Stastany having?  Well, one of his officers, Richard P. Bennett, deserted his post and went to see midget porn star Bridget the Midget Powers perform at a local strip club called Club Alex’s.  That wouldn’t be a problem, except for the fact that Officer Bennett was on duty when he went to watch a midget get naked.

Fortunately, for once, the other boys in blue didn’t cover up for their misbehaving comrade.  In fact, five other officers reported the fact that Bennett had left his job to go pay a visit to his local lap dancing parlor.  In a pretty lousy situation, Chief Stastany is looking on the bright side.  “We are not red-faced,” he said of his department.  “In fact, I am pretty proud [other officers] stepped up.”

That’s definitely finding the silver lining!  Sure, one of your cops wandered off to go stare at a human oddity undressing, but at least his buddies narced on him!
