Things were going fairly well during a meeting of Indonesia’s parliament. In the lead-up to Ramadan, politicians and other government officials were trying to crack down on porn, so it goes without saying that during the session of parliament on Monday, the meeting was interrupted by 10 minutes of online porn videos blaring across monitors throughout the assembly hall. House Secretary-General Nining Indra, the leader of the Parliament, blamed the outbreak of porno on a visitor to the building trying to access porn online and vowed to scour the closed-circuit camera video to figure out who the hairy-palmed offender is.
It took security guards 10 minutes to shut down all the video screens that were displaying the offending adult material. Of course it would; this is a country where they can’t even figure out where west is, it’s no wonder they were having some computer difficulties! Still, you think they’d have bigger problems than their country’s love of porno. How about their love of cigarettes? That’s a public health risk!
