Those British sure do love their tea. Anywhere they are, when it’s tea time, then it’s time to have a nice hot cup of tea, with the emphasis being on hot. With any hot beverage, you have to be careful because you might burn yourself. That’s exactly what happened on a Ryanair flight, when a 56-year-old British woman burned herself so badly the plane had to make an emergency landing so she could get medical treatment.
The woman, on a Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Poznan, Poland, was hurt to the point that she needed medical treatment, so the flight she was on made an emergency landing Bremen, Germany, took the woman off the plane, and got her some medical treatment. Of course, since they have a schedule to keep, they didn’t wait for her to get bandaged up and flew on without her. She did eventually get to Poland, but she ended up having to take a train to finish her journey.
All because she needed her caffeine.
