Two men, ages 24 and 22, were arrested in a parking lot in Melbourne, Australia, after their strange behavior got one too many customers ill-at-ease. The two men had apparently broken into a pet shop and had purloined a lizard and an 8-year-old, 5-foot-long blackhead python named Boris and had gotten into an impromptu snake wrestling match in the middle of a McDonald’s parking lot.
“In all honesty, it’s just a case of dumb and dumber,” Detective Sgt. Andrew Beams told Australian Broadcasting Corp. “Anyone who gets out there with a one-and-a-half meter python in a McDonald’s car park — they’re pretty dumb.” The snake was returned to its owner Jodie Graham of Totally Reptiles. The snake is stressed out, but is otherwise fine after his try-out for the WWE.
