There’s a longstanding PopFi tradition of naked women interacting with the police in some manner.  Either she’s greeting the cops with beer or she’s running from them.  Whether she got naked and stole a cab or just doesn’t like clothes, naked women and cops are always interesting reading.  Unfortunately for Portland, Oregon, police officers Michael Filbert and Brent Maxey, their naked woman encounter was more killy than friendly as a topless woman attacked the two police officers with a meat cleaver.

One minute she’s having a friendly conversation with the cops, the next minute she’s gone completely OJ, raving about how she’s going to kill the cops while swinging her cleaver.  “It was the craziest call I’ve ever been on,” said Filbert, an 11-year police veteran who apparently got his masters degree in understatement from No Crap University.  Filbert drew his gun on the woman (who nearly killed him), adding, “There’s nothing else you can do.  She’s still slashing at us.”  Maxey drew his Taser, and eventually the woman calmed down and complied with police officers.

The 61-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital and has been placed on a mental health hold.
