It’s a classic bait and switch technique.  One person shows up and distracts the store employees, perhaps by asking questions or doing a little shopping trip with assistance, and the other folks involved just start taking stuff off the shelves.  That’s exactly what a group of women shoplifters did when they hit DPF Liquors in Hallandale Beach, Florida.  Store employees were distracted by customers; the shoplifting women stuffed liquor bottles up their skirts and into their panties.

It’s a creative use of underwear, to be sure.  The store is asking for leads to track down the three women, and has ponied up a $500 reward for information to catch the sticky-fingered thiefs.  However, I’m not sure they want the bottles back; who knows where they’ve been?  Or, rather, we know where they’ve been, and I’m not sure you want to drink a pint of vodka that’s been snuggling up to someone’s sweaty crotch.
