Usually, you only have to worry about being Rickrolled on the Internet.  However, you’re never completely safe from a Rickroll as increasingly, the Rickroll is spreading into the physical world.  We’re not talking about Rickrolls at sporting events, either, we’re talking more subversive Rickrolls.  A Reddit user and college student who goes by the handle Mayniac182 decided to test his computer teacher’s reading comprehension skills by turning a paper into a giant Rickroll.

Said Mayniac 182, “Everyone in my computing class is certain the teacher doesn’t actually go through ANY work we hand in.  So I’ve been up for the last few hours crafting this.  The first paragraph started as an idea to use ridiculously complex words to confuse him (English is his second language), do that for a bit then just go Fresh Prince on him, but that got boring [. . .] Read the first word of every line that touches the left margin (so everything that isn’t indented).  It’s taken eight cups of coffee, but I finally did it.  Rickrolling my computing teacher in style.”

When you see the full thing, and Mayniac182 uses the ENTIRE Rick Astley song in the margin of his paper, it’s pretty spectacular.  I think he put more effort into a single prank than I put in on any of my college papers (except for my capstone thesis).  Amazing results.
