Oh, Lady Gaga, sometimes you’re just too funny for words.  While I’m generally anti-pop star, I love me some Lady Gaga.  I know it’s all a calculated act, like Alice Cooper or Marilyn Manson, but I appreciate just how over-the-top she is able to go with her outfits, her music videos, her stage presence, and generally everything she does.  I may not always like it, but’s always interesting and controversial.  Controversy is Gaga’s business, and that’s why Lady Gaga bit the head off of a stuffed Santa Claus during a show at London’s O2 Arena.

During a between-songs pause in the show, Gaga engaged in a little banter with the audience.  During the lull, she discussed the upcoming holidays and someone chucked a stuffed Santa onto the stage.  Seizing on the moment, Gaga pounced on Santa, scooping the toy up and saying, “Well I do like Christmas but for those of you who are feeling lonely this Christmas, just to keep everyone happy…”  She then tore into Santa with her teeth and, with a little help from her stiletto heel, was able to decapitate Father Christmas to a cheering audience.  She added, “He was pregnant with chemicals not meant for children,” before tossing the head back into the crowd.

Maybe it’s the Grinch in me, but I loved it.  The video, which contains NSFW language, is pretty hilarious and shows that she was delivering the cursing-ladened Anti-Christmas rant on behalf of holiday haters like myself, not out of any real mean spirit towards the holiday season.
