When LeBron James made a very public decision to take his talents to South Beach and flee his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers for the sunnier climate of the Miami Heat and a burgeoning superteam of NBA stars, he offended a lot of people. Cleveland fans (and owner Dan Gilbert) are taking their wrath out on pretty much anyone associated with James, even people wearing his jersey to games. LeBron James, tired of trying to make nice, has decided to embrace the villain role. Just call him LeBadguy.
King James took to Twitter in the wake of Cleveland’s 55-point loss to the Los Angeles Lakers and gloated: “Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!”
You know what? Good for James. If he wants to be the bad guy, then he should go full-on Tony Montana, be the bad guy, and bring home a title to Miami as the unquestioned leader of the Heat. Until he gets it done on the court, he’s not a villain, just a blabbermouth. To be a full-on bad boy, like the Pistons of old, you have to talk THEN back it up. Until that happens, there’s no need for Seattle superhero Phoenix Jones to take HIS talents to South Beach, too.
