Every morning, when electrician Wang Han-chin leaves his home in central Taiwan, there’s someone waiting to curse him.  Wang Han-chin is suing his neighbors, saying that they taught their mynah bird to curse him.  Every morning, the bird greets Wang Han-chin with the cat-call, “Clueless, big-mouthed idiot.”

Being cursed at daily by a foul-mouthed bird has to be pretty distressing, especially given the mimicry skills of mynah birds, a cousin of the parrot that is renowned for its talking skills.  Wang Han-chin says that the daily taunting his causing him so much distress that he is burning himself at work due to lack of concentration.  That’s where the clueless idiot part comes in; the big-mouthed part is from the fact that Han-chin has repeatedly complained to the police about the noise produced by his neighbors.

Han-chin originally tried to have his neighbors arrested, but police dropped the charges due to lack of evidence.  Since the law failed, now it’s time to turn to the courts.
