The United States is filled with a thirsty bunch of citizens.
We love our beer. We’ll partake of it in marshmallow form, deep fried or in deep-space mode.
And those thirsty six-pack, growler and keg-toting citizens are proudly loyal to their local brews. Microbreweries are popping up seemingly on every corner. Even 7-11 is getting in on creating its own beer brand. The push for market share has folks getting creative with packaging and marketing their beers.
For those suds guzzlers anxious to drink their way across the great U.S. of A., the Houston Press has put together a map that shows one of the most popular brews associated with each state. Not every hops-and-barley beverage is a micro-brew. For example, Missouri gets a Budweiser logo based solely on the number of “the King of Beers” sold nationally.
No matter how long I gaze at that map, I’ve yet to find Springfield and Homer‘s favorite beer Duff on there.
Should you try to drink all 50 and you end up with a few you don’t like, here’s a link to other ways to use that bread in a bottle.
