There’s physically blessed, and then there’s just rubbing it in. You have to give a hand (and a foot) to a toddler in Myanmar, whose parents believe she has the most digits of any living person. Le Yati Min, a 16-month-old girl from Yangon, Myanmar, was born with 26 digits. Now her family are ready to cash in and have submitted her to the Guinness World Records group as most digitally-enhanced person on earth.
“She seems to have a stronger grip on things – so she doesn’t drop things much,” says proud mother Phyo Min Min Soe, 26, of her daughter’s unique condition. No wonder on whether or not her 7 toes on each foot give her better balance.
There are two current record holders for the most digits on a living person, both of whom reside in India and both of whom have 12 fingers and 13 toes. There is a Chinese child with 31 digits on his fingers and toes, but his aren’t perfectly-formed, so he doesn’t really count. Either that, or his parents haven’t applied him to Guinness yet.
