Get excited, children. For a long time, The Walking Dead was a hit underground comic book. Then AMC got wise and turned The Walking Dead into a record-setting hit television series. Now, Telltale Games, the creators of the Back to the Future and Sam & Max game series, will be bringing the zombie action to television screens in a different way. Telltale Games is teaming with Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman to create a Walking Dead video game. Kirkman also discusses The Walking Dead season 2 in his interview with IGN.
According to Telltale Games, The Walking Dead will consist of a “multi-year, multi-platform, multi-title” partnership with Kirkman. Besides that, no other details about the game are available, in spite of Kirkman’s interview. The game will be episodic, as have past Telltale Games releases, and the working agreement covers PCs, social media gaming, hand-held video game systems, and traditional video game consoles, and mobile phones, among other things.
