National Pancake Day should be celebrated in style.

Haven’t eaten breakfast yet?  That makes two of us.  Put down your pancake-flavored drink and listen up.  If you want to taste the real thing and not force yourself to chug down another instant breakfast, then get to your local IHOP ASAP.  That’s right, National Pancake Day is back again.  Every year, the International House of Pancakes dedicates a day to give away free flapjacks for the Children’s Miracle Network, and today, March 1, has is that day.  Head over to IHOP for a free short stack and leave a donation for the Children’s Miracle Network.

IHOP’s goal this year is to raise $2.3 million dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network.  Last year, IHOP raised $2.1 million and aims to top that.  So open your mouth and wallet while filling your belly with flapjacks and your heart with charity.  This is a great cause, and as important, this is free food!

The promotion runs from 7 AM today until 10 PM, so if you have eaten breakfast, you can still get some pancakes for lunch, dinner, an afternoon snack, or a late-night treat.  Mmm, pancakes!
