That's right, fried Kool Aid!

When it comes to frying things, there’s nobody better than “Chicken” Charlie Boghosian, whose Chicken Charlie food truck is a fixture at fairs throughout California during the summer and fall.  Chicken Charlie has been frying things for years; he’s credited as the inventor of the fried Oreo cookie and is the inventor of deep-fried Coca-Cola.  His latest mad science?  Chicken Charlie has invented fried Kool Aid.

It’s the perfect companion piece for your fried dinner:  Texas Fried Frito Pie for the gang, with fried beer for the adults and fried Kool Aid for the kids!  Everyone wins, especially your cardiologist!

Sign me up for this deliciousness.  If you fry something and put it on a stick, I’m going to eat it.  Same goes for grilling something on a stick.  Recently, in the same day, I had fried corn on the cob and grilled pork butt on a stick.  Both of these things were incredible; I only wish I had eaten them at the same time (though I admit that may be flying too close to the sun).  Still, if I could’ve had some doughnut-like Kool Aid balls to chase it with?  That would’ve been absolutely perfect.
