Free pizza! Free Pepsi Max! Thanks Papa John!

It doesn’t matter if you’re a Giants fan or a Patriots fan, last night all of America won.  One of the many prop bets on last night’s Super Bowl concerned the results of the coin flip.  If it landed on heads, pizza chain Papa John’s was going to give away a free large one-topping pizza and Pepsi Max to everyone registered for their Papa Rewards frequent buyer program.  Well, the coin landed on heads, so everyone gets a free pizza and 2-liter soda!

“No matter which team you are rooting for, everyone enrolled in Papa Rewards walks away a winner after Super Bowl XLVI,” said Ppaa John’s founder, chairman, and CEO John Schnatter, who sold his 1971 Camaro to keep the company afloat during its early years.  “It’s our way of celebrating a terrific NFL season and rewarding our loyal Papa Rewards customers.”

Papa John’s is the official pizza of Super Bowl XLVI and of the NFL for both this last Super Bowl and the next Super Bowl.  This is way better than last year’s Super Bowl prop bet from Papa John’s, in which the game had to go into overtime.  A 50/50 shot at free pizza is a shot I’ll take all day long.  The Pepsi Max is just a delicious bonus.
