Once upon a time, folks thought Kate Middleton would never become Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. The woman known as Waitie Katie seemed doomed to an eternal engagement before finally tying the knot in a lavish ceremony on April 29. Since then, it hasn’t been all wonder and magic for Kate. More like, naked paparazzi photographs and lawsuits. Still, things have seemingly turned around for the royal couple: Kate Middleton is between 6 and 12 weeks pregnant with her first child!
Kate was at her family home in Berkshire with her husband Prince William when she became violently ill. As the symptoms lingered, she was taken to the hospital in a private car, in an attempt to dodge the celebrity stalkers and newshounds waiting to jump on any report. Since avoiding the press is impossible when you’re the future king and queen of Great Britain, news got out. Kate’s violent illness is the early stage sickness of pregnancy!
Rumors of the Princess Pregnant have been floating around since the London Olympics, and given Kate’s recent preference of water to champagne and wine at recent royal events, well… it was only a matter of time. Kate will spent the next few days at King Edward VII Hospital, then be placed on bed rest until she is feeling better.
