When it’s time for the plane to take off, people aren’t getting the message. A US Airways flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Charlotte, North Carolina, became more than just a simple air trip when a female passenger refused to hang up her cell phone so the plane could leave the gates. Lindsay Bien-aime became the latest passenger to have a phone-based airplane freakout, joining the likes of Words With Friends fanatic Alec Baldwin and that guy who punched a teenager who wouldn’t hang up. It took four people to subdue Ben-aime and get her off the plane, as you can see by this cursing-filled video of the incident.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaoKap4vEK4“I will hold up this whole [expletive] plane,” Ben-aime is heard yelling on the YouTube video of the incident. “I don’t care where people gotta go.”
The situation got worse for Ben-aime. She was charged with resisting arrest with violence, battery, and disorderly conduct. All because she wouldn’t shut up and hang up. Yeesh.
