It’s coming.  It may still be cold outside, but that won’t be the case for long.  The groundhog has announced it:  spring is on the way.  Of course, spring as a season might get here early, or might take a little bit longer than the official first day of spring depending on where you live, but spring as an astrological time period?  Today is the day.  Today at 12:57 the vernal equinox will be upon us, meaning the day and night will be the same length of time.  Of course, Google has to celebrate with an adorable doodle featuring a cute little blobby man watering some adorable growing flowers.  Here’s a video of the doodle, just in case you don’t want to click over to Google and see it.

Of course, it doesn’t feel like spring out there (and most people just consider the first of March the start of the spring season), and my allergies are yet to make me suffer.  That will come in due time, but until the sneezing starts, don’t burn your sweat socks just yet.
