So you’re on the Las Vegas Strip, taking in the sights and sounds and gawking at all the neon signs when you see a scuffle break out.  One of the fighters is 55-year-old Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil.  The other is 52-year-old master thespian and dinosaur castle fan Nicolas Cage.  You might think you’re dreaming, but you’re not.  Nicolas Cage got into a physical confrontation with Vince Neil in Las Vegas.

Neil is accused of grabbing a woman by the hair from behind and pulling her to the ground.  That’s when Cage stepped in, going from bystander to Face/Off action hero in the blink of an eye.  Cage grabbed Neil, pulled him into a head lock, and held him until police arrived on the scene.  Neil faces a misdemeanor battery charge; Nic Cage faces no charges, unless you can be charged for being awesome.  The incident was caught on video, which you can find at TMZ.

As for Cage, there are no hard feelings.  While he held Neil in a head lock, Cage said, “You’re okay, I love you.”
