Sometimes it’s hard to imagine a lightning fast sports car that is still eco-friendly. I mean isn’t that a mark of the millionaire? Using gas like shower water? Maybe not: auto makers like Tesla are starting environmentally conscious trends for people with inflated wallets. But they aren’t the only green hot rod on the market.
I’m a bit partial to the Lightning GT (pictured above). This puppy can go from zero to 60 in less than four seconds! If you can afford the $300,000 price tag, then prepare to hang with the classiest of sports cars.
But that is nothing compared to the emission-free, biodegradable-lubricated Rinspeed sQuba. If you say the name out loud, it’s going to have a “watery” ring to it… That’s because this entirely electric automobile is also a faux submarine. It can go on land and underwater! The image is below to give you an idea.
