There’s a world of free stuff out there on the Internet. Whatever you want to do, you can find something out there that will allow you to do it, and it’s usually freeware or shareware software. That means you don’t pay anything for it, either for a trial period or forever. However, how do you know what’s good free stuff, and what’s free stuff not worth the time? Once you make the decision to shift to freeware, it’s very hard to go back to the olden days of proprietary software.
