The family of an infant girl who has two faces say they won’t change a thing. The family, and local villagers in a small India community outside of Delhi say that their unnamed baby is a “Gift from God.”
The child has two noses, two sets of eyes and two mouths.
The mother of the baby basically says that if God created her child, then God knew what he was doing. She says she could not regret something that God made.
According to a story about the baby
, the family lives in poverty and is “largely illiterate” not trusting modern science to help their child. But the thing is, they don’t think she needs help at all.
Apparently both faces work. The child feeds with one mouth and sucks her thumb with the other.
The family had no pre-natal care during pregnancy. Neurologists say that two heads basically melded together. For any surgery to be done, the placement of the windpipe would have to be examined thoroughly.
The family says they don’t care. They love their child just the way she is.
