I don’t know anyone who likes going to the dentist. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I HATE it. Passionately. Whenever I go to the dentist I feel like I’m Dustin Hoffman and Dr. Szell (the guy in the picture) is asking me, “Is it safe?” I’d never cross my dentist, because I’m afraid of her. That goes double after having read about a woman in the town of Neu-Ulm in the Bavaria section of Germany who had $700 worth of dental work ripped out of her head by her dentist.
Granted, the dentist had good reason. He’d put the two bridges into her head with the expectation to be paid for his work, but she and her insurance company refused to pony up the Deutsche Marks. That’s usually when you turn to the court system, not your trusty pliers. That seems a little harsh, even for a dentist, but hopefully those false teeth can be recycled for a good cause.
